Born on October 31, 1957, in North Tonawanda, New York, Robert was the son of the late Robert W. Peter Sr. and Nancy Meyers Peter. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and warm personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy; his son, Christopher; his stepsons, Mike Vickers (Kim) and Jim Vickers; and his sisters, Linda Sumpter, Lori Adams, and Lisa Miller (Gary). He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Professionally, Robert was the owner of Tri-Lakes Container, where he built a reputation as a hardworking and respected business owner. His commitment to excellence and dedication to serving his customers earned him the admiration of colleagues and those who worked alongside him throughout his career.
Outside of work, Robert embraced life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, spending time on the golf course, and following the financial markets through day trading. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family and loved creating lasting memories with those closest to him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc. in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with Father Michael Crookston officiating, followed by interment at Jeannette Memorial Park in Penn Township.
