Stuart Tallis was also last seen on the same day, at approximately 1:30 a.m., in the Fishwick View area of Preston. He was officially reported missing three days later, on June 27, after family and friends were unable to contact him.
The similarities in the timing of their disappearances led investigators to examine possible connections during the search efforts.

As the investigation has progressed, detectives now believe the Peugeot left the roadway during the early morning hours of June 24.
